Born in Williston, North Dakota, Brent Lee was raised in a hardworking, blue-collar family where entrepreneurship was a way of life. Watching his parents build and operate multiple businesses gave him a firsthand understanding of the risks, sacrifices, and resilience required to create lasting success. Brent carries that perspective into his work today, helping families simplify their financial lives and build strategies rooted in clarity and purpose. As the Bakken oil boom accelerated, he made monthly trips back to Williston to serve close friends and community members navigating newfound opportunity and complexity.

In early 2013, Brent relocated back to Williston to co-found TruWealth Financial. Today, TruWealth partners with farmers, business owners, and multigenerational families to steward and manage the wealth they have worked so hard to build.
